Membership Terms & Conditons

1. Any person or organization agreeing to the principles of the Council and interested in Industrial Safety and Health shall be eligible to its membership. However the council reserve the rights to admit any Organization/ Individual to be its member.

2. NSC membership does not entitle any members to use NSC Logo and name for any personal /private/ commercial correspondence in a manner that will convey any approval/affiliation/certification for the quality of their services, product, or organization.

3. For Student Membership:

   1. Student seeking membership of the Council must be a bonafide student of a recognized college/ institution and must be pursuing a full-time degree or diploma course.

   2. He/ She shall be at least 18 years and shall not be more than 25 years of age as on the date of application of membership.

   3. Must attach bonafide certificate from the college / institution where he/ she is studying while applying for the membership and its renewal.

   4. Must not be employed fulltime.

   5. Students Members will be offered Individual Membership after they attain the age of 25 years and satisfy other criteria required for membership.

4. ELection:

   All members except International Corporate Members, International Individual members and Student Members will be able to contest election for the position in the Board of Governors of National Safety Council. Election process shall be governed as per “ Election Rule For NSC BOARD OF GOVERNORS”.

5. Members of NSC are entitled to receive the following benefits:

   Complimentary Benefits:

   1. Industrial Safety Chronicle (A premier, informative and authentic technical journal at the national level ) publish quarterly.

   2. Industrial Safety Newsletter (A Bi-monthly periodical giving current news and activities in the field)

   3. Online Access to digital copy of previously published Industrial Safety Chronicle and Industrial Safety Newsletter.

   4. National Safety Calendar (Annually Multi sheet wall calendar with pictorial messages on topical subjects and one information sheet on a subject of public interest)

   5. Twelve numbers of Safety Posters with appealing messages on Safety, Health and Environment (Only to Corporate Members).

   6. Free Access to NSC Library (a good library equipped with over 3500 technical books and 20 periodicals on Safety, Health and Environment) at NSC HQs Premises only.

   7. The annual training calendar and brochures of National Conferences, Seminars, National Level Specialised Training Courses.

   Services at Discount:

   1. Participation at the NSCI Safety Awards.

   2. HSE Diary produced annually giving HSE information for ready reference of industry, regulatory agencies and HSE professionals.

   3. Publications (such as Safety Stickers, HSE related technical Manuals, Handbooks, Booklets, Safe Practice Pamphlets, Conference Proceedings, reprints of important international publications, etc.)

   4. Participation at the National Level (Class Room) Training programme, Seminars, Conferences.

   5. Twelve numbers of Safety Posters with appealing messages on Safety, Health and Environment (Only to Corporate Members).

   6. Free Access to NSC Library (a good library equipped with over 3500 technical books and 20 periodicals on Safety, Health and Environment) at NSC HQs Premises only.

   7. The annual training calendar and brochures of National Conferences, Seminars, National Level Specialised Training Courses.

6. The annual subscription shall be paid within a stipulated time for getting the above benefits. Failure to pay the annual subscription is liable to terminate the membership its benefits and service discounts.

7. The National Safety Council reserves the rights to change any or all of these terms & conditions, without giving prior intimation.
